With nearly 30 years of drumming experience and approximately 10 years of teaching experience, Dr. Dave Zeppettella brings extensive practical knowledge and a distinctive approach to music education. He has taught students of all ages through school band programs, marching percussion, and individual drumset instruction in a retail music environment, adapting his approach to each student's needs and goals.

As a Ph.D. electrical engineer, Dave brings an analytical perspective to drum education. He embraces technology as a tool for enhancing the learning experience, incorporating audio, video, and artificial intelligence (AI) to support instruction and student development.

Dave designed The Groove Syndicate around this philosophy, combining sound instructional fundamentals with a structured, technology-enhanced approach to developing technique, timing, coordination, control, and consistency. His goal is to help students build skills and recognize their progress over time.
